Regional Clinical Manager
The UHP Regional Clinical Manager leads a team of clinicians that care for the geriatric population within skilled nursing and long term care settings. The RCM is responsible for providing day to day management of all clinical staff and ensuring the market achieves all clinical performance goals including hospital reductions and improvement in quality metrics. The RCM organizes and oversees initial training, on-boarding, orientation, ongoing trainings, performance evaluations, chart reviews, and mentorship of clinicians. Most importantly, the RCM will set the team based cultural tone, establishing a highly professional, dedicated team of geriatric clinicians. The RCM will work closely with the UHP team to build an excellent working relationship with UHP’s health partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner OR Regional Nursing Home Clinical Leadership
Nursing Home Experience
Previous supervisory or management experience
Previous experience in internal medicine and geriatrics strongly preferred
Excellent administrative, organizational and verbal skills
Travel required, often requiring Tuesday through Thursday travel when on-boarding new providers in distant markets (approximately 75%)
