Senior Human Resources Generalist (P/T, hybrid)

We are offering a unique opportunity for a Senior HR Generalist on a part-time basis, requiring 1-2 days per week at our office in Fishers, Indiana, with the remainder of the hours worked from home. The position entails 20-30 hours per week, with flexibility based on the candidate's preference for carrying our comprehensive benefits package and 401k. Compensation ranges from $28 to $36 per hour, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Our company supports a large restaurant group with over 1,100 employees. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 5-8 years of direct experience in Human Resources, with strong demonostrated skills in employee relations. While the role primarily focuses on HR generalist duties, recruiting responsibilities are minimal. Experience in the hospitality industry and/or an advanced degree would be advantageous but is not required.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Ultra Steak Support Center is adding a P/T Human Resource position fulfilling a broad range of support for the Human Resources department. The incumbent will have a key emphasis on operations support. Position will report to VP of Human Resources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Advise and partner with operations team.
• Receive, document and resolve employee related concerns.
• Lead investigations and document employee incidents.
• Assists with and/or leads mandatory reporting (EEO-1, ACA and OSHA).
• Provides guidance to Operators regarding HR related concerns.
• Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
• Receives and processes Worker’s Compensation and General Liability claims.
• HR form design and maintenance as needed.
• Manages document retention system for HR records.
• FMLA/LOA administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skill with the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
