Advanced Assembly, Inc., located in University Research Park on the west side of Madison, is adding an Assembler I position to our well-trained and experienced staff. Advanced Assembly, Inc. is an electronics manufacturing services provider of electronic assemblies and products. Job Description: The Assembler I performs routine assembly operations, of a repetitive nature, to produce quality products per product specifications. Primarily, this is an entry-level position.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time).
- Assembles product and sub-assemblies according to written documentation
- Tests functional performance of assemblies using various meters and test equipment
- Moves material to and from work area
- Minimal soldering of components may be required
- Utilizes small hand tools, jigs and fixtures
- Packages product per process instructions
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by primary supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read, speak and understand both verbal and written instructions in the English language
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail (working with small electronic parts)
