Advanced Assembly, Inc., located in University Research Park on the west side of Madison, is looking to add a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I to our well-trained and experienced staff. Advanced Assembly, Inc. is an electronics manufacturing services provider of electronic assemblies and products, including the Captioned Telephone (CapTel). This full-time position offers a second shift schedule of Monday - Thursday, 2 : 45pm - 12 : 45am, a competitive starting wage and a full benefits package. Wage depending on experience. Job Summary : The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and preventive maintenance of electronics manufacturing equipment.
Essential Functions : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Understand and follow all applicable safety procedures, specifically "Lock Out-Tag Out" (LOTO) .
- Monitor the quality of the product and adjust the machine to comply with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot AC voltage single phase 120v up to 3 phase 480v systems.
- Utilize electrical schematics and electrical measurement devices, i.e., multi-meters, Oscilloscope, etc., to troubleshoot and repair various manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
- Assist other Technicians in unscheduled maintenance and repairs.
- Support and participate in the 5S program to ensure tools and spare parts are organized and readily available as needed.
- Perform electronic and mechanical calibration related to manufacturing equipment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by primary supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities : No direct reports.
