Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of aerospace components and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards
- Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on aircraft parts and assemblies
- Document inspection results and generate reports
- Identify non-conformances and collaborate with relevant teams to address issues
- Participate in the development and improvement of inspection procedures and processes
- Utilize various measuring and testing equipment to perform inspections
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to address quality-related concerns
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Verify adherence to customer specifications and industry standards
- Ensure alignment with AS9100 and other aerospace quality management systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality control processes
- Provide guidance and training to production and quality personnel
- Maintain a thorough understanding of aerospace regulations and standards
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in quality inspection within the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulations, including AS9100
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Certification in quality inspection (e.g., CQI, CQT, ASQ) is preferred
- Strong understanding of metrology and inspection techniques
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
- Ability to use various inspection tools and equipment (e.g., CMM, micrometers, calipers)
- Experience in conducting internal and external audits
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented and committed to upholding high standards of quality
- Proficient in using quality management software and tools
