Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Position Summary
- The primary function of the Tool Crib Attendant is to procure, record, store repair parts and supplies.
- Work is performed under the general direction of the MRO Buyer and Tool Crib Supervisor.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Maintain Item Master and Item attributes.
- Receive parts against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
- Place received parts in bin locations and perform appropriate ORACLE transaction.
- Verify that parts are being signed out and issued to the appropriate work order.
- Perform cycle counts and record in Oracle.
- Create purchase requisitions
- Perform 6S activities and other projects as requested.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- High School diploma required. Associates Degree from a two year school or institution preferred.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training.
- Computer Proficiency with Excel, Word and ORACLE is desired.
- Perform simple arithmetical computations with speed and accuracy.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- While performing the job duties, the employee is required to use a ladder as well as bending to retrieve or store parts in bin locations.
- This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
- Must be able to move and lift objects of up to 25 lbs.
- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.99 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
