Purchasing Agent Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $22.00 / hour depending on experience
Purchasing Agent Responsibilities:
- Process material, tools, and rental requests from field teams (Site Superintendents).
- Verify products & pricing across and varied through 10-15 projects.
- Create Purchase Orders and coordinate delivery with vendors.
- Provide relevant information such as product availability, alternatives, etc to Site Superintendent/Project Manager.
- Keep a record of past orders along with relevant information.
- Help resolve issues with deliveries (backorders, missing material, incorrect material, late deliveries, etc).
- Work closely with Estimating, Project Management, VDC, and Tool Managers.
- Fill out job information reports, credit applications, and keep department reports up to date.
- Work closely with Accounting Team to resolve any issues that arise with invoices, PO overages, etc.
Purchasing Agent Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year computer experience, particularly with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- High School Diploma
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent digital organization skills
- Self-Motivated, Detail-Orientated
