Job Description:
The Adjustment Coordinator posts contractual and administrative adjustments not generated by Patient Accounting and/or bolt-on Cash Management systems. Processes all non-cash related correspondence.
Required Skills:
- Ten-key by touch required.
- Knowledgeable of Patient Management and Patient Accounting systems.
- Excellent customer service to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Analytical ability to comprehend, interpret and explain contract terms.
- Excellent Financial analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented ability to set and meet deadlines, and support multiple projects.

Required Experience:
Work Experience:
One year of experience with cash transactions, auditing records for discrepancies, reconciliation activities or any financial services related experience. Must have knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB), Explanation of Payment (EOP), Remittance Advice (RA). Experience with hospital accounts receivable practices preferred.

Education and Training:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
