Job Summary
Oversees the implementation of a strategic approach to fundraising efforts which includes major gifts, planned giving, and kind-donations. Looks for financial support from businesses, organizations and individuals. Strengthens relationships with existing donors. Identifies and stewards prospective donors. Creates and implements a comprehensive development plan designed to address the specific financial needs of the Hospitals. Position requires to occasionally work evenings and weekends for events and/or meetings. Travel may also be required.

Work Experience
Five years of experience with fundraising, first-hand in broad-based program is required. Experience playing a key role in a major capital campaign preferably in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with donor and prospecting tools, such as Blackbaud, is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software is required.

Education and Training
Bachelor degree in Public Health, Business Administration or related field is required. Master degree preferred.
