What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, Supported Employment position at UMHS?
Assists in the oversight of the Supported Employment (SE) program by supervising employment specialist, monitoring program integrity, and being the administrative liaison to other coordinators both inside and outside of the agency. Preferred experience with Vocational Rehabilitation and IDD Supported Employment Services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accepts SE referrals and assigns employment specialists to work one-on-one with persons served
- Assists in coordination or completion of supplemental evaluations
- Supervises SE team weekly using case examples and following SE Program principles and procedures
- Individually supervises employment specialists
- Ensures quality and timeliness of documentation and forms
- Acts as liaison to other department coordinators both inside and outside of the agency
- Monitors and ensures the integration of the employment specialists with treatment teams
- Participates as needed in treatment team meetings and Service and Training Plan development
- Assist with internal audits and peer reviews as directed
- Assist with human resource processes as needed
- Comply with all local, state, federal and national accreditation standards as directed
- Monitors and ensures extended services are occurring
- Monitors and assists in coordination of interagency or external referrals
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
