Physician - Radiologist
We are seeking a full-time Radiologist to lead our well-established Radiology group in Easton, MD.
About Us
University of Maryland Shore Regional Health (UM Shore Regional Health) is a regional, nonprofit, medical delivery care network formed through the consolidation of Shore Health and Chester River Health back in 2013.
We are a member of UMMS, enhancing our various clinical programs and facilities, and facilitating physician recruitment to bring world-class medical care to the residents of Maryland's Mid-Shore region.
Our Network
We serve the Mid-Shore region, which includes Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's and Talbot counties.
In addition to our two hospitals in Chestertown and Easton, we include two freestanding emergency centers in Cambridge and Queenstown, and UM Shore Medical Pavilions at Cambridge, Chestertown, Denton, Easton and Queenstown, with a broad array of inpatient and outpatient services throughout the five-county region.
About the Role
This position will devote approximately 25% time serving as the Executive Physician to the employed group.
Approximately 75% of time will be devoted to providing direct patient care in an ambulatory setting.
Responsibilities
- Define, plan, develop, implement, and oversee clinical programs and systems to guide and attain the goals of UM Shore Regional Medical Center and University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS).
- Serves as a dyad partner with Director of Operations with focus on practitioner relations and performance.
- Establishes clinical practices and performance standards in collaboration with Director of Operations and UM SRMC CMO.
- Lead the vision and evolution of the company's clinical and digital care management offerings as the clinical subject matter expert.
- Utilizing market data, consumer research, and patient analytics, spearhead new approaches to effective clinical delivery services, including the introduction of new technology and integrated paths.
- Participate in the strategic planning for UM SRMC clinical and digital care management strategy.
- Provide strategic guidance of utilization management and medical policy programs/areas as necessary to support the clinical organization.
- Monitor performance of launched clinical programs and support continuous improvement.
Work Schedule
Office Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
