Exempt: Male Achievement Coordinator

As a Full-Time Exempt Male Achievement Coordinator, you will help make a difference in the lives of Douglas County residents by working to increase the number of male students who attend UCC and complete with a degree or certificate. Rural male students have been identified as having lower rates of college enrollment, persistence and completion, and this project is funded to specifically target and help this population. In addition, this position is a vital member of the Early College team and will interact with high school students throughout Douglas County about college opportunities. These will include helping increase the number of college credits students earn in high school, assist in planning special events around college and career, and help with transitioning high school students to college.

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. 
• Experience building partnerships required.
• Excellent organizational, human relations, written and oral communication skills. 
• Ability to problem solve, multi-task, and work independently. 
• Ability to work some evenings.
• Valid Oregon driver's license, good driving record, and be willing to provide own transportation.

• Experience coordinating projects preferred.
• Experience mentoring or advising students preferred.
