Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
The Junior Developer, ServiceNow completes assigned tasks in the Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare environment to meet the overall project objectives. They are responsible for assisting in the configuration, customization, and development of ServiceNow reports, flows and modules. They work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solutions, and implement changes within the ServiceNow platform. Developers may also contribute to troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure platform stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform based on business need
- Create dashboards and visual tools for reporting on specified criteria
- Complete required ServiceNow training/certification
- Debug and resolve issues across various ServiceNow modules
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve quality
- Analyse data thoroughly and create reports to highlight trends and patterns for decision-making.
- Monitor workflow queues, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve problems alongside customer and client teams.
- Participate in team and client meetings to align goals, share updates, and strategize improvements.
- Communicate project objectives and updates to enable management to monitor progress and provide support when necessary.
- Stay current with ServiceNow trends and emerging technologies
- Write and execute automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to streamline workflows, improve efficiency and enhance platform functionality
- Adhere to UMRFV guidelines and policies
- Additional responsibilities are defined between the Project Manager and the employee depending on company needs and the employee’s availability
