The Parking Enforcement Manager provides leadership for the Transportation and Parking Enforcement team and is responsible for enforcing on campus parking regulations. This position supervises a staff of fourteen full-time employees working two shifts Monday - Friday, this position provides direction to Parking Control Supervisors and Officers through the development and implementation of policies and procedures as mandated by 'The Ordinance Regulating Traffic and Parking on the Campus of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill'. This position is responsible for the overall enforcement of parking policies on campus ensuring parking compliance. Utilizing license plate recognition (LPR) to manage parking credentials on campus, this position will analyze available data to identify parking and enforcement trends, influence policy to increase campus awareness of parking regulations, and increase operational efficiencies.
Transportation and Parking is an Emergency Support Function 1, and this position is responsible for responding to campus emergencies and responding to emergent situations including supporting sudden and unplanned campus-wide egress.
