Clinical Support:
- Perform medical assistant duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Assist healthcare providers with minor procedures and examinations.

Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for new medical assistants and provide ongoing education for the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and maintain compliance with clinic protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of clinical documentation.

Patient Interaction:
- Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner, addressing inquiries, providing information, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers.

Collaboration with Healthcare Team:

Inventory Management:

Minimum Education

High School Diploma or GED is required at time of hire.

Associates Degree in Medical Assisting or related is preferred

Experience

Previous experience in the medical field required, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.

Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Required Registration/License/Certification

Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is required at time of hire.

Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association is required at the time of hire.
