The University of North Carolina Charlotte Facilities Management department is seeking an outgoing motivated person to join our staff as a Building Environmental Services Supervisor (BES).Duties Include:Provide supervision for a multi-shift team of up to 15 custodial personnel in performance of duties in academic, administrative and athletic facilities.Assign and schedule work; establish individual workloads and assign personnel to specific work areas.Order and maintain supply inventory; train, counsel and evaluate performance of employees.Prepare personnel action memorandums; interview and recommend personnel for filling vacant positions.Approve leave and submit time cards in the Kronos timekeeping system and absentee lists to supervisor.Maintain equipment inventory and repair records; compile maintenance checklist and report needs to the supervisor.Perform daily inspections and correct deficiencies.Test and make recommendations on supply and equipment purchases.
