Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Reports to: Assistant Plant Manager
Job purpose: Monitor output and quality of production through proper setup of various manufacturing equipment, following schedules and work orders to ensure efficiency and quality product. Ability to provide support for the manufacturing facility in multiple functions based on business needs.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Robo Pack:
· Responsible for operating case packer machines in a safe and efficient manner.
· Ensuring that the finished product is packed securely and accurately.
· Responsible for applying box codes according to product specification
· Maintain control of inventory quantities, pack size, and changeovers.
Filler Operator:
· Controls the start of production change over
· Responsible for the operation and sanitation of the filler machine.
· Maintain control of Caps inventory quantities
· Providing support to all functions in the bottling department when required.
Sacmi Label Operator:
· Set up and operate the label machine to apply labels according to specifications.
· Control inventory quantities, and label changeovers indicated for daily production run.
· Ensure quality placement on the front and back of bottle
Palletizer:
· Operates the label machine for pallet labels
· Ability to get on/off forklift
· Assist in clearing out jams
· Responsible for accurate inventory of cases ran per order.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift to 50 lbs
· Pushing/pulling/bending/twisting
· Ability to stand more than 50%
