Role: Field Operations Manager – Residential Asphalt Sealing & Repair

Compensation: $80,000–$100,000 base salary performance-based bonus
Overview:
We’re looking for a Field Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of residential asphalt sealing and repair services. This role is responsible for managing crews, maintaining the fleet, solving technical issues, and ensuring accurate estimates—all while delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Crew Management & Productivity
- Lead, train, and oversee field crews to ensure job quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Manage daily scheduling, work assignments, and on-site execution.
- Hold teams accountable for performance, quality, and timeliness.
2. Fleet & Equipment Oversight
- Ensure trucks, trailers, and equipment are properly maintained and ready for daily use.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Track and manage inventory of materials, tools, and consumables.
3. Technical Problem-Solving
- Serve as the go-to resource for troubleshooting field issues, from jobsite challenges to material application problems.
- Ensure crews follow best practices for asphalt repair, sealing, and site prep.
- Provide on-the-ground support when complex jobs require expert handling.
4. Estimating & Job Pricing
- Review job sites and provide accurate estimates for sealing, crack filling, and repairs.
- Work with customers to explain work scope and pricing.
- Ensure quotes are competitive and profitable while aligning with company standards.

- Hands-on leader—not afraid to jump in when needed but know how to delegate effectively.
- Mechanically inclined—comfortable overseeing fleet maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
- Detail-oriented with strong business sense—you can estimate jobs accurately and ensure profitability.
