Role : Senior Construction Manager

Location : Morristown, NJ

Compensation : $140,000–$160,000 base salary performance-based bonus

About the Role

We are seeking a  Senior Construction Manager  to oversee and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction teams, ensuring project efficiency and accountability.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Monitor budgets, bids, and GMPs to sustain efficiency and accuracy.
• Evaluate project risks and develop pricing strategies for profitability.
• Coordinate bid and GMP preparations, including conditions, logistics, and planning.
• Work with MEP & BIM services to ensure accurate pricing and planning.
• Conduct constructability reviews and lead value engineering efforts.
• Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed on project status and challenges.
• Ensure compliance with permits, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project financials, reporting, and closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Construction operations with increasing responsibility.
• Proven track record of P&L management and delivering successful projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Deep understanding of estimating, scheduling, MEP systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to distill complex situations into actionable strategies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a history of overcoming challenges.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to engage with local community initiatives and professional development.
