Responsibilities:
This is a full-time salary position with an annual base salary range of $68,000-$80,000. This role is eligible for our annual performance bonus program and options.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the Art category to successfully launch new and commercially successful products based on ROI, assortment, and business needs
- Onboard artists and designers and develop strong relationships that support our brand and business goals; foster and grow existing relationships.
- Analyze assortment and industry trends, staying current on product distribution, competitive pricing, and market positioning
- Initiate and develop effective vendor partnerships through market research, attending trade shows, and following up on product leads
- Effectively communicate with vendors in resolving issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest level of merchandise quality and customer satisfaction
- Recommend products for print and digital marketing campaigns
- Partner with creative, site merchandising, and marketing teams in showcasing new items in print and on the web
- Work with both a product development team as well as vendors directly to initiate and guide designs from concept, thru refinement and to launch. Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly business analysis
- Achieve topline revenue, new item revenue, gross margin, gross profit and exclusive sales goals
- Partner with planning and operations to manage cost on hand inventory and profitability.
- Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly business analysis and hindsight presentations to buying team.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Design eye and understanding of UG brand and market positioning.
- Strong relationship manager and negotiation skills: market and business savvy.
- Excellent analytic and communication (verbal and written) skills. Excel wiz a plus.
- Track record in design, product and business negotiations; 3 years' experience in buying, product development, and/or the consumer products industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and retail math required
- Basic knowledge of Tableau, JIRA, Asana, and Trello encouraged
- Basic knowledge of dropship and marketplace fulfillments encouraged
- Familiarity with drop ship encouraged
