We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide essential in-home care and support to clients who need assistance with daily activities. The PCA will help clients maintain their independence and quality of life while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning clients as needed.
Prepare and serve meals, ensuring proper nutrition and dietary requirements are met.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist with medication reminders (as per state regulations).
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings as needed.
Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to supervisors.
Follow care plans and company policies to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Completion of a state-approved PCA training program or relevant experience in caregiving.
Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation and valid driver license (if required for the position).
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in clients homes.
Requires physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
May involve exposure to various home environments and medical conditions.
