Are you passionate about data and its role in driving impactful fundraising? We're looking for a Prospect Data Specialist to manage and enhance prospect data within our Salesforce | ascend platform.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Prospect Data Specialist focuses on managing and enhancing prospect-related data within the Salesforce | ascend platform. This position ensures data accuracy, consistency, and usability to support the organization's fundraising and prospecting initiatives. The Prospect Data Specialist will creatively approach challenges, maintain a keen eye for detail, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize prospect data and insights.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Data Integrity Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect data to support fundraising efforts.
Regularly clean and organize prospecting data, ensuring it aligns with the organization's prospecting needs.
Data Entry and Updates
Data Reporting and Innovation
Collaboration and Relationship Building
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education : Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred, but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
Experience : Successful candidates should have demonstrated experience working with data, with familiarity in using data tools and reporting software being a strong advantage. Experience in nonprofit, higher education, or comparable environments is desirable but not mandatory.
PHYSICAL & COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to operate computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment. Ability to focus and complete work in a timely manner. Ability to travel independently via car and air. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and lift or move objects up to 10 pounds.
