About the role and why it’s unique:
- As the Director of Creative Operations, you will set the vision and lead the day-to-day creative team operations at Underdog. In this role, you’ll work across teams, partner with stakeholders and build creative workflow systems to enable our world-class creative team to reach and exceed its potential.

- Mine data to drive decisions, optimize resources, and find new ways to improve how we work.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to support creative initiatives and projects.
- Manage expectations and communication with stakeholders, ensuring our creative work is delivered on-time, delivers business results and aligns with strategic priorities.
- Combine data analytics and design to drive decision-making.
- Own projects from conception to delivery and maintain the assets within our digital asset management platform for internal and external use.
Who you are:
- 10 years of in-house or agency creative operations experience.
- Operational Mastermind. You turn chaos into clarity, building processes that create efficiency and accountability while putting a premium on creative excellence.
- Ability to balance creative excellence with business goals and objectives, ensuring our work moves the needle while consistently meeting business objectives.
- Have a deep knowledge of the latest creative project management tools, digital asset management systems, AI tools, and collaboration platforms to streamline team workflows.
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and managing teams.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and operational costs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- A change-agent. Drive continuous process improvements, implementing best practices in program management that help the team grow and adapt.
- Proven track record of building high-performing team of program managers, mentoring them in both day-to-day and long-term career growth
Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $176,000 and $220,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
