At Uneeda Enterprizes, a leading manufacturer in the Abrasive Industry, we are seeking an experienced Human Resource/Payroll Administrator to join our team in Spring Valley.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of all human resource and payroll functions, from employee onboarding to running payroll, with a strong understanding of labor and employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Benefit Administration: Manage 401K, health insurance, and time-off benefits
- Employee Relations: Hear and resolve employee grievances, counsel employees, and maintain a positive work environment
- Labor Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal and state labor laws
- Payroll Processing: Run and record weekly and bi-weekly payroll, handle expense reimbursements, garnishments, and quarterly tax filings
- Talent Acquisition: Place job ads, screen candidates, and narrow down selections for hiring parties
- Employee Evaluations: Oversee the employee evaluation process
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws across multiple states
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
