Job Description Birch Community Services (BCS) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. This pivotal part-time role will contribute to the smooth operations of our mission-driven organization by managing key administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and fostering effective communication across teams. Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday 12p-7p
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and post dues and payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Follow up on and reconcile missed commitments to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct new shopper orientations to onboard participants effectively.
- Respond to routine email inquiries using approved templates.
- Reconcile volunteer hours to maintain accurate records.
- Serve as phone support during meetings or when the office is short-staffed.
- Successfully liaison with participants while confidently and respectfully enforcing organizational policies and procedures, ensuring boundaries are maintained while upholding the organization's standards and values.
