Personal Injury Associate Attorney
Job Title: Personal Injury Associate Attorney
Location: Long Beach, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip-and-fall, medical malpractice, and product liability.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Handle discovery, depositions, and client interviews.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the case process.
- Manage case files and ensure timely progression of each case.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies for complex cases.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in California.
- 2-4 years of experience in personal injury law.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with trial preparation and litigation.
- Knowledge of insurance law and claims process.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
