Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements while maintaining a smooth flow of service in the restaurant.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize restaurant flow.
• Provide accurate wait times and assist guests in understanding menu options.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host stand and dining area.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha Toast, and Tock to manage orders and reservations effectively.
• Assist in training new staff on guest relations and operational procedures.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others, contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
