SUMMARY

UnidosUS seeks a Program Coordinator to support programmatic efforts across the Housing & Financial Empowerment programs component. Tasks will include program administration activities and logistics coordination for program-related meetings and events (in person and virtual).

UnidosUS Housing & Financial Empowerment (HFE) aims to build the wealth of Latino and other low- and moderate-income families through homeownership, improved housing stability, and financial security. We partner with UnidosUS Affiliates, other community-based organizations, government agencies, corporations, and private foundations to create high-quality programs that support Latinos in their wealth building journey and achieve economic prosperity.

The position is hybrid and will be based in Washington, DC.

Salary : $63,000-$66,300

Essential Functions :

  • Support the drafting, signing, payment processing, and archiving of grant-related documents such as contracts, amendments, and data-sharing agreements by communicating directly with subgrantees and relevant UnidosUS stakeholders.
  • Maintain tracker of timelines, deliverables, and payments to subgrantees and contractors.
  • Manage and submit monthly expense reports.
  • Conduct desk research to inform programmatic efforts, planning, or reporting.
  • Coordinate logistics for both in-person and virtual grant related events and meetings.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining an annual schedule of program-related activities.
  • Support subgrantees in program development, data collection, and evaluation.
  • Provide technical support to subgrantees regarding the use of Quickbase, SharePoint, Blackboard, and other databases, including enrolling new users and troubleshooting immediate concerns and challenges.
  • Process mailings of materials and organizing documents for audits and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with other HFE team members as needed.
  • Support signature HFE team events, such as trainings, grantee convenings, site visits, etc.
  • Support dissemination of HFE programs information, announcements, materials, and tools.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associates degree.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Intermediate level expertise in Microsoft 365 Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Zoom.
  • Experience in reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices or payment requests.
  • Proven experience in providing technical support related to grant invoice process.
  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of the Latino community.
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Spanish fluency (oral and written) skills.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Experience working with federal grants, subgrants, or nonprofit funding streams.
  • Knowledge of federal grant compliance standards, including invoicing requirements and reporting guidelines.
  • Familiarity with QuickBase, Salesforce, Blackboard, or similar CRM systems.
