Airport Ramp Agent (American) - LIH PT
Full/Part Time, Part Time, Part Time Days
Days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Shift: A.M. shift.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading customer aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
- Safeguarding customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from damage or loss.
- Lifting, loading/unloading, sorting, and transferring passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts.
- Operating pushback equipment and maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure safety.
- Receiving and recording customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.
- Picking up, delivering, and transporting cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and preparing records accordingly.
- Operating motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers.
Mandatory requirements include:
- Being a local (in-state) resident.
- Having authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Completing ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
- Ability to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment.
