Airport Ramp Agent (Delta) - OGG RR - PM Shift
Job Type: Part Time Days, Full/Part Time
Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - P.M. shift
About the Role:
As a Ramp Agent with Delta, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, servicing, guiding, and directing customer aircraft.
- Loading, unloading, sorting, and transferring passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts.
- Safeguarding customers' baggage, air cargo, and airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage, and destruction.
- Operating pushback equipment and maintaining visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure the pushback equipment is free of any danger.
- Receiving and recording customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials as required.
Responsibilities:
- Picking up, delivering, and transporting cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and preparing records in connection with these responsibilities.
- Operating and/or driving motorized equipment such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers.
Requirements:
- Must be a local (in-state) resident.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
- Able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment.
