Position Overview
The Project Assistant provides general administrative and clerical support to the Project Team by coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal groups. Some duties may vary based on experience and company need.
Key Responsibilities
- Follows up with customer on submittals, change orders, samples, schedules, and other job-related issues
- Assists with creation of purchase orders and follows release procedures for all material
- Follow-up on vendor purchase orders to ensure delivery alignment with project requirements
- Obtains and checks vendor purchase order acknowledgments
- Assists with creation of change orders and ICO’s
- Assists with creation of packing slips and coordinates with the shipping/receiving department and communicates/coordinates in getting material to jobsite
- Cross training in other areas of the company as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- High School Diploma
- Competency in computer software and administrative skills
- Organizational planning and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good office etiquette and overall professionalism
- Ability to maintain patience and calmness under pressure
- After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen/physical/background check.
