We’re looking for a QC / CWI Inspector to join our team and support our quality assurance efforts across multiple sites.
Position Overview:
The QC / CWI Inspector will be responsible for ensuring welding, piping, and structural system assemblies meet code and specification compliance through rigorous inspection and documentation practices. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, safety awareness, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce isometric drawings with weld and materials tracking capabilities
- Create and maintain weld logs for multiple ongoing projects
- Maintain welder continuity logs to ensure compliance with qualification standards
- Perform visual inspection of welds and welding processes in the field
- Conduct inspections of piping and structural assemblies including torque processes and tolerances
- Assemble and/or review QC turnover packages for completeness and accuracy
- Witness hydrostatic testing and verify conformance to applicable specifications and codes
- Perform hydrostatic testing as needed
- Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with company safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required
- Experience in industrial construction quality control
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, structural assemblies, and applicable codes (ASME, AWS, etc.)
- Proficiency in reading and producing isometric drawings
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks across projects
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Computer and Program literate (Excel, Bluebeam, Projects, etc.)

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
