Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the IT Application Project Manager will be the coordination point for a portfolio of Enterprise IT applications and projects. In this role you will provide oversight, tracking, best practices, escalation as needed and smooth transition of projects and or products to production. You will work with IT staff, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for IT Projects. You will have experience in PMBOK and application delivery. You will play a key role in keeping the project team engaged and maintaining clear communication throughout the project.

Responsibilities
- Implement EMR (Athena, eIVF, etc), Practice Management, and Patient Engagement solutions.
- Utilize common project methodologies in the delivery of IT application project management including Agile or Waterfall.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple application projects.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation & develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
- Manage relationships with relevant stakeholders and report and escalate as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks and maintain a project risk log.
- Provide weekly project status reports to project stakeholders and project teams.
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Establish working relationships and collaborate with both IT and business staff.
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies to drive efficiency in the delivery of IT Services.
- Follow all applicable federal/state regulations with respect to Confidentiality and HIPAA, among others.

Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, or relevant field or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience required.
- Great communicator, written and verbal. Able to inspire and persuasively communicate ideas, overcome obstacles, guide people, and compel change.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Athena and/or other EMR and Practice Management solutions implementation experience
- Proven working experience with EMR, Lab Systems, patient portals, practice management and or other related health care applications.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem-solving ability.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial attitude: self-motivated, self-directed.
- Ability to successfully accomplish tasks with minimal oversight and management.
- Healthcare experience preferred; Experience in Reproductive/Fertility Medicine, Family or Primary Care is a plus but not required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in the use of computer equipment and software, including but not limited to, Windows environment (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) required.
- Experience with project management software tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
