Your role

Reporting to the Sr. IT Manager,

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Systems and Applications Administrator to join our IT team. This hybrid role focuses on maintaining the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise applications, databases, and IT/OT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in systems administration, application optimization, database management, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.  This is primarily an on-site position with the option for one remote workday after the evaluation period.

Systems Administration

• Perform routine maintenance, updates, patches, and backups using tools like Veeam and Commvault.
• Manage servers, Active Directory, file servers, and hybrid cloud solutions, including O365 and Azure.
• Collaborate with Network and Security teams to ensure IT/OT segregation and enforce security policies.
• Support virtual environments, including VM configuration and migrations.

Application Support & Management:

• Manage and optimize enterprise applications, including ERP, WMS, and LIMS platforms.
• Ensure applications are updated, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

• Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions.
  

Database Management:

• Install, configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle)

• Optimize database performance, implement security measures, and perform backups and recovery.

Collaboration & Project Management:

• Work with cross-functional teams on IT/OT integration and compliance projects.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and project deliverables.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance IT services.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and or a combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT systems administration and application/database management.
• Proficiency with ERP, WMS, or LIMS systems.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux environments, and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell or similar tools.
• Experience with BCP and DRP activities and testing.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Expertise in backup and disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Experience with KPI reporting and analytics using Power BI.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  
• Familiarity with FDA/GxP compliance and related documentation is preferred.
• Certifications: Microsoft Azure, Cisco CCNA, or ITIL is preferred.

Compensation range

80 000,00 - 105 000,00 USD

*The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
