Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team in Seaford, DE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and be responsible for managing tax compliance, planning, and reporting for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws, staying current with changes in tax legislation.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.
• Prepare and present tax reports and analyses to senior management and clients.
• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Taxation or a related field.
• Experience with tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and complex business structures.
