This is a high-visibility role where your decisions directly influence cost, carrier quality, and service delivery across UniGroup’s expansive network.   What You’ll Do As the Manager, Brokerage, you’ll be responsible for building relationships, leading a front-line team, and sourcing 3rd-party carriers to keep freight moving smoothly. You’ll: ✔ Source, vet, and select third-party carriers — especially for containers and specialized freight✔ Negotiate rates, build partnerships, and resolve service issues or disputes✔ Lead, coach, and develop a small but growing brokerage team✔ Oversee shipment coordination, load planning, and on-time delivery✔ Collaborate closely with pricing, assets, and equipment teams✔ Monitor KPIs using Excel, Qlik, ThoughtSpot, and other performance tools✔ Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting and streamline operations   What You’ll Gain This isn’t just a role — it’s a stepping stone to broader influence in our brokerage strategy.
