What You’ll Do:
As the Territory Manager for Baltimore, Eastern Shore of Maryland, and Delaware, you will play a key role in expanding Unilock’s market presence and driving growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop Sales & Relationships: Build and manage residential sales and customer relationships within your territory.
- Collaborate with the Team: Support commercial sales efforts in partnership with Unilock’s commercial sales team.
- Prospecting & New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with distributors, contractors, landscape designers, and architects.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while attracting new clients.
- Training & Support: Educate and train business partners, ensuring they are equipped to successfully sell Unilock products. Introducing new products, programs, and promotions to help grow sales.
- Reporting & Tracking: Keep track of all territory-based activities, submitting daily sales reports electronically.
- Other Responsibilities: Undertake additional duties as assigned or required.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Location: Must reside in the territory (Baltimore, Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware)
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales, preferably within the manufacturing industry with a focus on new business development and B2B sales.
- Education: College degree or equivalent work experience (preferably in Business or Manufacturing).
- Proven Success: A track record of achieving sales results and a strong goal-driven mindset.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong organizational skills and business acumen.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and a "need to win" attitude.
- Exceptional client service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Confident public speaker, with experience training groups of customers.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer objections and questions effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 30 lbs. or more.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
