Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker / Courier to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure our facilities remain safe and in excellent working condition. You will handle routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of the property and equipment; as well as perform daily runs between local locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Complete general repairs, such as fixing plumbing leaks, replacing light fixtures, and repairing doors or windows.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
· Courier of documents and materials between branches and post office
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergencies to minimize downtime.
· Assist in installation or assembly of equipment and furniture as needed.
· Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
· Adhere to safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
· Collaborate with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs when necessary.
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker, Handyman, or in a similar role.
· Ability to successfully clear a security background check
· Currently Licensed Automobile Drive; Safe driving record
· Ability to climb ladders
· Proficient with hand tools and outdoor implements
· Ability to follow instructions; excellent communication and time-management skills.
· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects or work in various conditions
· Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
· Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment effectively
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
