Position Summary : The Personal Bankers builds and maintains strong customer relationships. They provide exceptional service, process transactions, place customers in appropriate account, cross-sell other bank services and refer customers to other departments as appropriate. The primary focus of this role is to be a leader in sales behind the teller line.
Essential Functions :
- Embrace the Union Bank culture by delivering a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Accept and accurately process all financial transactions.
- Assist customers with all account requests.
- Proactively build customer relationships to uncover account and lending needs.
- Lead by example, support and assist branch in achieving goals set by management on a consistent basis.
- Review and maintain knowledge of products, fees and policies, and stay current on offerings for product suggestions.
- Research and resolve customer questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Proactively participate in ongoing trainings, coaching, and mandatory meetings to ensure continued growth.
- Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions that apply to designated job responsibilities.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Perform other job related duties as assigned.
