What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exceptional Children Coordinator position at Union County Public Schools?
Ensuring compliance to established policies, procedures and/or regulations as required to maintain the school’s program of services. Assist the Principal with oversight of coordination with EC teachers to plan for Annual Review and Re-Evaluation meetings. Work collaboratively with related service providers. Aid teachers to develop and implement effective IEP’s. Assist teachers and Instructional Assistants to achieve best practices in the classroom by aligning lesson plans with student IEP’s. Provide ongoing planning opportunities for families to prepare for transition services into adult life.
