About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Rehab Clerk to join our team at Union General Hospital. As a Rehab Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our rehabilitation department. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a rehabilitation department.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient care.
- Assist therapists with patient treatments and exercises as needed.
- Manage departmental inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, answering questions and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Skills:
