Paralegal/Executive Assistant Details
Paralegal essential job duties:
- Will report directly to Corporate Counsel.
- Supports Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Counsel with respect to billing, fraud/abuse and related projects.
- Assists in the preparation of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Conduct legal research and identify relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal sources.
Executive Assistant essential job duties:
- Provide high-level administrative support to executives, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel logistics.
- Prepare and organize reports, presentations, and other business documents for internal and external meetings.
- Coordinate communication and correspondence on behalf of the executive team, including handling phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Organize and prioritize tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion and execution.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Support the executive team in preparing and tracking budgets, expenses, and other financial documents.
Education, Training & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a paralegal and executive assistant, ideally in a law firm or corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and legal software (e.g. LexisNexis, Clio) .
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential information.
