Description
Overview:
Residential Camp Support Staff include roles such as: Office Manager, Cook, Kitchen Staff, Custodian, Nurse, and more. These roles are important to the camp community as they ensure that campers and staff are healthy and safe while on camp.
Specific Duties:
GENERAL CAMP TASKS
- Follow all camp rules and ensure that staff and campers are as well.
- Abide by Personnel Policies & Procedures of the ULBGC Camp.
- Follow all State of WI, American Camp Association, Serv Safe, the Summer Food Assistance Program, and other certifying body guidelines
TRAININGS & MEETINGS
- Attend staff training before camp starts
- Attend staff meetings before each session starts
- Check in with Head Cook regularly
- Work with Camp Director to plan skills to improve on while working at camp
SUPERVISORY
- Ensure that all staff are following the rules of the dining hall and making sure that all campers get complete, healthy meals and report to a Cook or Leadership Team Member if there is an issue Follow up with staff to fully complete and turn in required paperwork
- Report facility issues to the Property Manager in a timely manner
- Manage all tasks assigned on the job description
- Complete other tasks as assigned
- Kitchen Staff Specific Tasks
- Prepare complete meals on time as assigned
- Set tables and assist the cook in getting food out before each meal
- Clean dishes, the dining hall, and the kitchen after every meal
- Keep the kitchen organized and free of clutter
- Report facility issues to the Property Manager in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Passion to provide a positive camp experience to everyone who comes to camp
- Organized and detail oriented
- Great communication skills
- Good follow through on tasks
- Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred
