Responsibilities:
Safe operation and movement of trains between various shop locations, service tracks, and switching areas.
Equipment inspections and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
Coupling and uncoupling equipment and cars, operating locomotive equipment, and applying hand brakes.
Communication with co-workers and train dispatchers via radio, as well as maintaining accurate documentation.
Compliance with railroad rules and regulations, and performing additional duties as assigned.
