Day to day as a Network Engineering Supervisor
In this position, you will directly manage engineering personnel to ensure high-performance standards and project efficiency. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Provide staff direction and support including but not limited to safety, work scheduling, and coordination hiring of personnel, appraisals, timesheet and expense report approvals.
- Manage the engineering staff to complete assigned tasks.
- Project Management Responsibilities:
- Interact directly with the project coordinator in developing the overall construction schedule.
- Provide feedback on engineering work status and other factors that affect schedule.
- Coordinate manpower availability to match production schedule.
- Reporting/Communication Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve team problems in a timely manner; work well in group problem solving situations; balance team and individual responsibilities; contribute to building a positive team spirit; align group commitments to goals and objectives; inspire respect and trust; provide vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates.
