Position Overview:
The Merchandising Assistant provides assistance to the Inventory Control and Merchandising teams with reporting, recapping, and analyzing the business. They are also the immediate point of contact to stores in regard to any questions or concerns regarding promotions, markdowns, shipbacks, or any potential system issues.
Job Description:
- Provide administrative support to the Inventory Control and Merchandising teams
- Input price changes into the system with a high level of accuracy
- Writing purchase orders on a weekly basis
- Executing and organizing the weekly reporting for the Inventory Control and Merchandising teams
- Assist with other projects as needed
- Other related duties to be assigned by direct supervisor
- Frequent in person collaboration
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- High level of experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in other Microsoft Office products- Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to create reports with large data quantities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with a willingness to flex schedule based on needs of business
- Sense of urgency
- Has interest in supply chain management and desires to develop into a future Inventory Controller
Hourly Rate: $25.00
