We are seeking a skilled and strategic Procurement and InventoryManager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory control and daily production kitting process, ensuring that all materials and services are acquired and distributed efficiently and cost-effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement management principles, contract negotiation, and supplier management to support the organization's operational needs.
Duties
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the entire procurement process, including sourcing, purchasing, and contract management.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
- Oversee category management to optimize purchasing decisions across various product lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Utilize Odoo for tracking procurement activities and managing inventory levels effectively.
- Kit daily production for vehicle assembly needs
- Perform root cause analysis on procurement issues to identify areas for improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in procurement management, with a strong background in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Familiarity with materials management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Odoo or similar procurement software is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on supply chain challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
