Director of Land Development Engineering

About the job:

We're seeking a seasoned land development engineer/project manager to train to take over as director of our Civil Department at our small, well-established, and respected engineering firm located just north of Tampa in Spring Hill, Florida.

Responsibilities:

• · Manage land development projects
• · Produce full sets of construction plans
• · Create stormwater management designs and reports
• · Process permits for projects
• · Prepare designs and plans
• · Learn local permitting agencies and processes
• · Manage projects and handle clients
• · Prepare proposals

Qualifications:

• · EIT with a minimum of 3 years of experience
• · Florida P.E. required within 18 months
• · Proficiency in Civil 3D and stormwater modeling (e.g., ICPR or SWMM)
• · Competence in Microsoft Office essentials
• · Strong project management skills
• · Excellent client communication abilities

Preferred:

• · Local/Florida experience
• · Florida P.E.

Starting Salary Range: $80K-$110K

Negotiable compensation for role depends on an array of non-discriminatory factors including degree, license, skill set, and relevant experience.
