Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Director to lead the operations and management of our Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP). The Deputy Director will oversee high-quality, trauma-informed care for residents, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to provide the best outcomes for residents. This role also focuses on staff supervision, program development, and effective resource management.

Primary Responsibilities:
- QRTP Operations: Lead the daily operations of the QRTP to ensure services are provided according to best practices and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include establishing policies and procedures, obtaining necessary licensure and accreditation, and managing the hiring and training of leadership and hourly staff.
- Staff Supervision & Development: Supervise and guide program managers, clinical staff, and other team members. Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure that staff are well-equipped to support program success.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the QRTP complies with all state and federal regulations, including Medicaid and other funding sources. Implement quality assurance processes to monitor and improve service delivery.
- Budget & Resource Management: Assist in developing and managing the program budget, ensuring resources are used efficiently and in adherence to financial guidelines.
- Individualized Treatment Plans: Oversee the development and implementation of trauma-informed, culturally sensitive individualized treatment plans for residents.
- Community & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families to enhance service delivery and meet program goals.
- Program Development: Contribute to strategic planning for the program’s growth and development, identifying areas for improvement and expansion.
- Leadership & Growth: Lead large-scale mental health programs to ensure program success and sustainability, while contributing to the long-term development of the QRTP.
Education, Experience, and Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Behavioral Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
- A minimum of five years of management and administrative experience in mental health or behavioral health services, including experience in program management and staff supervision. Experience in a QRTP or similar residential treatment setting is required.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in budget management, regulatory compliance, and problem-solving.
- In-depth knowledge of QRTPs, trauma-informed care, Medicaid regulations, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Professional licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) is highly desirable.
- Additional certifications in trauma-informed care, clinical supervision, or program management are preferred.
- Must obtain CPI and CPR certifications following hire.
- Physical Requirements: Primarily work in an office environment within the residential facility, with occasional travel. Ability to walk through the facility, sit for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
