Seeking a highly motivated Market Research Analyst to support a growing federal government contracting firm. Responsibilities include conducting in-depth market research, analyzing industry trends, identifying potential clients and opportunities within the federal market. Utilize tools and technologies such as government databases (SAM.gov, eBuy), Customer Resource Management (CRM) systems, and market intelligence platforms like GovWin, Orange Slices (OS AI), G2Exchange, etc. to build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and opportunities. This is a hybrid position working up to three days per week in the company's headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, and other days working remotely from home.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for
- Conduct market research and analysis of the federal government contracting landscape.
- Identify and qualify potential clients and opportunities within target agencies and departments.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and government regulations.
- Utilize market research tools and technologies to gather and analyze data.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and opportunities.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations.
- Support business development efforts through market intelligence and competitive analysis.
- This job description emphasizes the utilization of key tools and technologies commonly used in federal government contracting market research.
- Interview domain and technical experts and draft proposal sections that incorporate written guidance and the results of these interviews.
- Assist with proposal coordination and management as directed by a Proposal Manager.
- Support marketing and communications activities aimed at expanding brand awareness and messaging Unissant capabilities and differentiators to the market. Tasks may include coordination, writing, event planning and execution, and campaign management.
- Help to mature corporate growth processes in the areas of market research and analysis and marketing and communications, supporting process documentation, education, and execution.
Work Experience:
- 0-2 years of experience in market research, business development, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interviewing experience.
- Project/program coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems and market research tools (preferred).
